Some of may know, others may not, but on Sept. 12th, 2010, there are going to be 3 national 9-12 Tea Party rallies across the nation coordinated with the Tea Party Patriots.  One is in Sacramento, CA.  One is in Washington DC.  And one will be in St. Louis, Mo.!!!  From what we understand, Fox News, CNN and other media outlets will be covering the events. 

So we came up with an idea.  How about a day trip on a bus down to the St. Louis rally!!  The event goes from about noon until 4pm down at the Arch.  We would load up on a bus here in Effingham around 10am, and then we would head down for the rally, then get back in Effingham sometime after 6pm.  Right now, the cost is going to be $20 a person.  We have reserved a 55 seat bus, with an option for a second 47 seat bus.  However, we are not going to sign a contract for the bus until we know we are going to have enough people to cover the costs.  As a result, we need to know ASAP if you are interested in getting tickets and going on the bus.  Call us at 217-821-9306 (if we don't answer leave a voicemail), or email us at downstateiladvocate@yahoo.com or anakrion76@hotmail.com.  Stay tuned here for more details as they develop.
