Chances To Get Involved Locally

There are several ways you can get involved locally for conservative issues!

First, the Effingham Tea Party is looking for walkers for the July 4th parade in Effingham, IL.  We'll be lining up on North Maple (north of the hospital) around 5pm.  Please bring non-partisan or patriotic (it is the 4th of July after all) signs along with you.  If you want more information, please contact us at downstateiladvocate@yahoo.com.

Second, if you know of anyone that is pondering a run for local office here in Effingham, give us a buzz as well.

Third, it seems the US Supreme Court is set to rule on the Chicago gun ban any day now.  Stay tuned!!

Fourth, we are beginning the planning stages of the 9-12 Tea Party.  We want to make this event the largest by far, and we will be coordinating with the other Tea Parties in the area.  If you are a Tea Party Coordinator in Central or Southern Illinois, please get a hold of us if you are interested in going in together with us!

Finally, we wanted to pass this along to you again - sent to us from the Clay County Tea Party:
