Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) may have violated ethics rules by linking his campaign site to his death counter site regarding health insurance.  Nothing will most likely come from this but his retort regarding the possible violations is a joke in itself:

"There are no violations. Once again, the Republicans are trying to change the subject from what matters to what doesn’t matter," Grayson said. "Why can’t they talk about the issues? In the hours since they started complaining about this, more than 100 people have died because they do not have health insurance."

Any death due to bureaucratic junk whether government or private industry is horrible.  However, if he wants to place these heath care deaths at the feet of Republicans, then lets see how many deaths the Democrats can be held responsible for or be linked to:

- How many unborn children have died because the Democrats continue their rigid pro-choice stances?

- How many have died because CAFE standards in cars reduces the survivability of car accidents due to lighter and smaller cars?

- How many of our troops (or Afghan civilians also) have died or been wounded in Afghanistan since President Obama's delays of reinforcing our troops? 

- How many have died from government insurance because Medicare is the largest denier of claims?

- How many died at the hands of the Communist and Socialist leaders that so many Democrats and people on the left seem to admire?

Why is it that Speaker Pelosi continues to allow Rep. "Wingnut" Grayson continue his rants?  I hope the people that live within Rep. Grayson's district will reject both him and this kind of political discourse in November 2010.  Since Speaker Pelosi has taken over the House leadership, divisiveness and party politics seems to be the norm.  Funny how she and others like Rep. Grayson blame the Republicans, but exactly who was it that locked the minority party out of the committee room?
