Sen. John Kerry has yet to give up on Cap and Tax.  Sen. Kerry is one that believes that we should lead the way in cutting our output of global changing pollution.  As you know, as the US goes, so goes the rest of the world.  That's sarcasm people - big time.  In fact, those at the NY Times are even writing how global climate change (no longer called "global warming") is a threat to US security.  Kerry and others believe that without changing our climate changing ways, that we will be fighting more wars, disasters, etc.  In case you're keeping count, there's still no named storms in the Atlantic this season.  But that's probably El Nino's fault...  

Here's a bit of advice for Sen. Kerry.  Go ask your Senate counterpart Ted Kennedy exactly why there hasn't been a wind farm built off the Massachusetts coast.  Could it be that it's being blocked by Sen. Kennedy because the wind farm MIGHT be viewable from the Kennedy compound?  Who's putting the Earth and our security first now?

Notice how the left is concerned about US security when it suits their ideology, but when there are real threats to US security, they do what they can to either ignore it or demonize it. 

For instance, ignoring the illegal immigration problem and open borders is a real threat to US security.  Plus, we're not even talking about the threat to our economic security and health care by illegal immigration, but that's an article for another day.  Drug gangs and their minions are crossing our borders into the US despite US Border Patrol's best efforts.  The US Border Patrol has got to have the most thankless job in the US.  They're scorned for doing their job, underfunded, and on the firing line with those drug gangs - costing US and Border Patrol lives.  Not to mention the massive violence that is happening just south of our border in Cuidad Juarez.  Don't think also that terrorists haven't noticed the porous nature of our southern border either.

Those that did take steps to protect the US from those that would do us harm are now even closer to being investigated.  President Obama ran on an anti-Bush campaign and now that his poll numbers are plunging, he's going back to the well.  Just remember Mr. President, everytime you go to the well, you draw less water.  It's also funny how the Justice Dept. is most likely going to investigate interrogation techniques by the CIA against terrorists, but yet let 2 New Black Panther party members walk for voter intimidation. 

Finally, Sen. Kerry and others are worried about climate change as a threat to US security, but yet Iran is still rattling their sabres and N. Korea just got a propaganda boost from former Pres. Clinton's "rescue" mission.  What about those Russian subs off our East Coast?  Ideology trumps common sense.  It's supposed to be the other way around.
