On Friday June 26th, 2009, the US House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on "Cap and Trade", aka Waxman-Markey Act.  This bill would limit what companies could pollute, would establish a commodity on Carbon credit, and would penalize you and me through taxation and fines should we pollute "too much".

According to US Rep. John Shimkus' twitter message, Cap and Trade which is a "National Energy Tax" will cost the 19th Congressional District $471 million and 3,500 jobs in 2012.  Couple this nugget of joy with the tax increases needed to pay for Obamacare, the National Energy Tax and Gov. Quinn's tax increases, Illinois will have no jobs and no future.

More federal bureaucracy, more federal intervention, and more federal taxation.  Three knockdowns like that in boxing equals a TKO!!!
